The largest and busiest airport in Tunisia is Tunis-Carthage Airport. Other well-known airports, mainly used by tourists, are Djerba Airport, Enfidha-Hammamet Airport and Monastir Airport. Tunis–Carthage Airport (French: Aéroport de Tunis-Carthage, Arabic: مطار تونس قرطاج الدولي‎) (IATA: TUN, ICAO: DTTA) is the international airport serving Tunis in Tunisia. The airport is named for the historic city of Carthage, located just east of the airport as you can see in the Map of Tunisia airports. It is the base of operations for four airlines: Tunisair, Nouvelair Tunisia, Tunisair Express and Tunisavia. In 2010, it served 4,600,000 passengers. All ground handling is provided by Tunisair Handling, a 100% subsidiary of Tunisair, and security services are provided by the Police and the Customs. The airport is served by bus, taxi, but not by railway.

Monastir Airport is one of the busiest airports in Tunisia, named after Habib Bourguiba. He was born in Monastir in 1957 and was the first president of the Republic of Tunisia. The location of the airport is excellent, close to holiday destinations Monastir, Sousse and Port El Kantaoui as its shown in the Map of Tunisia airports. Just like Enfidha-Hammamet Airport, TAV Airports Holding is the airport operator. The airport is located west of Monastir, between a lake (Lac de Monastir Sahline) and the Mediterranean Sea. Enfidha-Hammamet Airport is a modern airport in the northeast of the country, officially opened on December 1, 2009. Especially in the summer it is busy at the airport, it is popular among tourists going on holiday to the Gulf of Hammamet. Just like Monastir Airport, TAV Airports Holding is the airport operator. The airport is located southeast of Enfidha and southwest of Hammamet as its mentioned in the Map of Tunisia airports. The beautiful island of Djerba has an international airport, known as Djerba Airport and Djerba-Zarzis Airport. The airport consists of a terminal and a runway and is mainly used in the summer (June to September). The airport offers many connections to and from airports in France and Russia, Tunisair Express and Nouvelair offer domestic flights to Tunis-Carthage Airport.
